Family activity at Causey Dam August 2008

Von's family had canoes that we borrowed. The girls loved the canoes. Weston and Clayton weren't too sure of them.

Duane thinks we ought to have canoes of our own. The girls agreed with him.

It was quite a stretch to the water . Carrying the canoes wasn't too bad.

The Little Ones loved the sand and rocks.

Weston had a treasure box he was finding things for. We all had a great day.

Family Reunion at Tony's Grove

Tony's Grove Lake. It was so pretty there. The spring flowers were just in bloom. The weather was perfect. A snow bank here and there. I took hundreds of pictures to practice my watercoloring.

This is the gate I painted in Heber the first day of the paint out. I was so scared to be left on my own to figure it all out. Practice is what I am doing now to be more ready for next year.
This gate is painted in Midway the second day of the paintout. I had a lot of fun and will do it again nest year.

This is how John asked her. She answered with a box a Berry Luck Charms and added words to say I would be Berry Lucky and Charmed to go to the prom with you.

Isn't she pretty? Her dress was so beautiful.

Ranch Day

The girls and Duane had a great day with the cows and calves. I stayed warm and had a nice day with Sharon.

Bailee's Birthday

Bailee had a fun day with friends and family. She got an ipod, jumpdrive, cd, and lots of goodies from her friends

Everyone enjoyed an Easter dinner after all the fun.

Mom's new project

Mom's quilt machine frame. Hopefuly she can sew quilts faster that she can quilt them.

More snow!

Snow up to the front deck.

Kendra's window well on the front of the house. Not looking forward to the snow melting and coming in the window.

The trampoline and the 55 gallon ddrum in the background on the right make good reference points for how much snow there is.

The girls jumped off the swing set into the snow. It goes up to Bailee thighs and Kendra's chest. Kendra is sitting in the snow.

This was taken from the mailbox. The snow is up to the deck floor. I like how the snow lays on the roof over the garage.

The trampoline is buried and the 55 gallon drum in the back ground make good measuring points.
